  • User Description: Look, playing Minecraft on consoles is truly amazing. It's basically the same delightful/terrifying experience from PC, albeit in the comfort of your living room. What's not to like? On consoles of the last generation there was at the very least one unintentional side effect of the platform: the procedurally generated world of Minecraft was significantly smaller than what could be achieved on PC. With Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions coming this August, the situation is different. Mojang is a studio for development claims that it "brings vastly bigger worlds and a larger draw range than Xbox 360 Edition." Hot dog! The PlayStation Vita version will also be available in August should the smaller world of the last-gen Minecraft be enough (and it is), This is even better news: if bought the game on PlayStation 3, you own it on Vita. It costs $5 to transfer from PS3/Xbox 360 to PlayStation 4/XB1 versions. The latter deal only applies for the first year of service and you'll need to upgrade as soon as possible to get the deal at a low cost. To make it more appealing, saved games from the previous generation/Vita versions will be transferred to newer generation consoles. However, it's not possible to go back. The August version will include all the updates to the versions from the last generation. The entire package will cost $20. Oh, and the creepers are super, super creepy.Mcprofile
