To access your Minecraft server files using the web client, navigate to FTP File Access and log in using your panel password. After authentication, you'll be taken directly to your home directory.Minecraft servers list Navigating Your Server Files Navigating through your server's files is similar to what you do on your own desktop. In the middle is the directory structure, we can navigate to, choose and edit our files from this location. To view the contents of the folder, click on it. To edit a File , we click Edit, and to download, click the actual name of the file. Along the top are options for managing the respective files you have selected. While you have the selected items checked , you can assign specific actions to them such as: Move Select files to move them into another directory on your server. Select files can be permanently deleted by deleting Copy Make a copy the files you have selected. Rename - Rename selected files. Download - Select files can be downloaded in an archive format. Zip - Archive selected files and save onto the server. Unzip - Extract the contents from an archive into the directory you are currently in. Edit Text Editor - Use an editor in text to edit the file. Creating New Folder and Files You can create new files or folders directly from your panel using the New Dir or the New File Upload option in the left side menu. New Dir - Create a fresh folder (directory). New File - Create a brand new plain text file.Minecraft servers list Upload - Upload a collection of files or an archive. If you're using the Upload option to upload files to your server, it is important to remember that you can only upload single files and not entire folders. Uploading an entire folder will require you to first archive it and then unzip it. Limitations The web-based FTP client is quick and simple to edit server settings and uploads. However, it is not without limitations. When you commit changes to your server files or uploading new files it is using the web page of the panel as an intermediary for the file exchange. What this means is that you are restricted in the amount of you can upload in a single session. This limit is 50mb. Any upload or commit of files larger than this will need to be performed using a third party FTP client such as Filezilla. Third-party clients like Filezilla don't have any limitations on file size, since they connect directly to your server files instead of the web-based FTP client.
