  • User Description: System Restore is the first line of defense and can bring you back to the point where the issue started like a time machine. If it doesn't help then you can undo it. Read about it first in the tutorial above and then try restoring to just before this began. Try it now in the event that System Restore isn't enabled on C drive, to enable it in the future. If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s... Even if it is the first time you tried the steps I provide I suggest you repeat them in order. 1) Run the Store apps troubleshooter at Settings > Update and Security > Troubleshoot. 2) Check for and install game Updates in the Microsoft Store app > Hub (three dots on the top right) > Updates. 3) Try resetting Minecraft in Windows Settings > Apps > Features and Apps > Minecraft > Advanced Options > Repair or Reset. Minecraft Restart your computer and try again. If none of these work, uninstall Minecraft from Settings above, restart your PC then reinstall the program from MS Store Hub (three dots on the top right of the Store app) > My Library. 4) The driver for the Display is so vital that merely updating it is often not enough. We must do everything to ensure it is functioning correctly. You can upgrade the Display driver via the Display adapter's or PC manufacturer's Support downloads web page. This will provide you with the exact model number, HP Serial No. or Dell Service Tag - which is indicated on the sticker on your PC. While there, check for the latest chipsets, BIOS/UEFI firmware (very vital) and network, sound, USB3 and other drivers, comparing to the ones that are currently installed in Device Manager, which can be accessed by right clicking on the Start Menu. If this doesn't give you the latest or ideal driver for what you need, compare it to the driver offered by the Intel driver update Utility here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/... or the Nvidia Update utility here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=e... or the AMD autodect utility here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/P... For Display issues one fix that works is to roll back or uninstall the Driver on the Display Device > Driver tab, then restart your PC to reinstall driver. You can also try older drivers in Device Manager > Display device > Driver tab > Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Choose. Then you will know you've tried everything in addition to Windows Update drivers. Adjust the screen resolution until it is what you want and looks best in Settings > Display > System. 5) If nothing else helps then contact Minecraft Support here: https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/requests/new I hope you find this helpful. Feel free to contact me with any questions you have and keep me updated. If you don't rate my post, I'll continue to work with you until the problem is solved. ______________________________________________ Standard Disclaimer: There are links to non-Microsoft websites.
